At 70 pounds, I'm a handsome Chow/Akita mix with an equally big personality! I may look like a tough guy, but I'm still figuring out this whole "meeting new people" thing. Once I get to know you, my fun-loving side really shines.
My favorite hobbies include playing with my toys and, to my surprise, discovering that water is AWESOME...especially if there's a kiddie pool involved. Splash time is the best time!
I'm a smart boy, too. I already know "sit" and "down," and I'm always ready to learn more with a little patience and some tasty treats.
A few things to know about me:
I haven't been cat tested yet.
Because of my size and enthusiasm, I'd likely do best in a home with older children.
I'm still a bit unsure about other dogs, so slow introductions and thoughtful management would be important.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
