Meet Cherokee, a Priority Pet!

Say hello to Cherokee - part-time snuggle negotiator, full-time entertainer, and proud ruler of his personal space. He's great with dogs, LOVES other cats, and truly enjoys being part of the furry friend group... as long as everyone respects his boundaries.

Cherokee is a confident, independent boy who likes being near his people and hanging out in the same space - he'll supervise your day from a cozy spot, follow the action room to room, and pop over for a quick hello when the mood strikes. He's affectionate on his terms, but he's not a "sit-on-your-lap for hours" kind of guy.

He would probably do best in a low-key home with someone who understands that Cherokee isn't at his happiest when he's picked up - he prefers pets and attention with all four paws on the ground, and he'll let you know when he's ready for love.

When he's not zooming around the house like a tiny race car, Cherokee is a professional napper. He loves being tucked away in cozy blankets, hidey spots, and little caves where he can snooze in peace.

Cherokee is looking for a home that appreciates a playful, quirky cat who brings joy, comedy, and just the right amount of sass - and who will love him best by giving him affection with respect for his boundaries.
