Hi, I'm Amadeus and I am a Priority Pet-and if you're looking for a best friend who loves to snuggle, you've found him! I'm a 6-year-old neutered male and one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet. I've been through a lot-my last family abandoned me not once, but twice. I also got hurt along the way. Luckily, the kind people at Pawmetto Lifeline rescued me, helped me heal, and gave me a soft place to land while I recover and wait for someone who truly sees me.
I was diagnosed with urinary crystals, which means I need to stay on a special diet (CD food only). But don't worry-I actually love my food, and I feel so much better when I stick to it! Because of my condition, I really shouldn't have access to other food or treats, so I'd do best as your one and only, or with a friend who's on the same diet.
I absolutely love being held and carried-seriously, it's the best. I'm happy to hang out while you work, curl up for naps, or settle in to watch some TV together. I've got a favorite toy that spins with a laser and a little worm tail-I'll chase it like a pro and then just sit and watch it like it's the best show in town. I also love kittens, even if I'm not a fan of adult cats.
I'm still working on perfecting my litter box habits, which might be because of past pain or just all the cats I currently live with. But with the right environment and a little patience, I'll get there.
