Hey! I'm M'Baku - yep, like the warrior from Black Panther!
Don't worry, I'm way more cuddly than fierce (unless you're a squeaky toy, then...RIP).
I'm a goofy, loving guy with a lot of energy and an even bigger heart. I've been with my foster fam for about a year now, and they've taught me all kinds of cool stuff! I know how to sit before going outside, before treats, and even before belly rubs (which, by the way, I LOVE).
Let's get this out of the way-I think I'm a lap dog. I mean, if you're on the couch or sitting on the floor, why wouldn't I climb in your lap? Size is just a number, right?
I love playing with my shih tzu brother in the yard-we run, we wrestle, we live our best lives. I do get really excited around other dogs, especially smaller ones. Sometimes I lunge, but it's always to play, not to be mean. I just don't always know my own strength yet.
I'm friendly with everyone, especially kids! I've been around all ages-from tiny humans to teenagers-and I'm always sweet and playful. Just don't be surprised if I try to join in their games. My foster's taught the older kids how to handle me when I get too bouncy, and I'm learning my manners!
Strangers? I'm a little shy around men at first, but give me a little time and I'll warm up-especially if treats or belly rubs are involved. With women, I'm usually chill and friendly right away.
Toys? LOVE them. I do rip the stuffing out, but don't worry-I don't eat it. I just like to "redecorate." Oh, and fetch? You can throw the ball...but I never said I'd bring it back. ??
I'm crate trained and I actually like my kennel-it's my chill zone. I'm still working on potty training, but I'm getting better every day!

M'Baku is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home.
