Hi... I'm Sunshine - a black-and-white beauty with three legs and one very big heart.
My story hasn't always been easy. As a young girl, I found myself out on my own for quite a while. Then I was hurt badly, and my back leg couldn't be saved. When I woke up, it was gone - but you know what? Losing a leg didn't take away my sparkle. It didn't slow me down either.
These days, I get around just fine and don't need any special help. I climb, explore, and enjoy life on my own terms. Three legs? No problem.
I'm a sweet girl who loves chin scratches. In fact, if you try to stop, I'll gently grab your arm with both paws and pull you back in. I'm not finished yet! I adore treats, soft pets, and claiming the fluffiest bed in the house as my throne. A cozy, fuzzy bed is my happy place.
I also love watching birds from the window - it's one of my favorite pastimes. When it comes to toys, I prefer solo playtime. I'll let my silly side out when no one's looking, batting and pouncing all by myself. A lady deserves her privacy, after all.
I use my litter box perfectly, enjoy my scratching posts, and don't have separation anxiety. I haven't been tested with dogs or children yet, and I'm unsure about other cats - but I tend to tolerate friendly ones just fine.
I may not be a full-time lap cat (yet), but I'm open to negotiations. What I truly want is a safe, loving home where I can continue to shine - three legs, silky fur, and all.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
