Hi, I'm Hugo-a handsome, gentle pup who's come a long way from where I started.
When I first arrived at the shelter, I was completely feral-scared, unsure, and not ready to trust anyone. But that was then. These days? I'm walking on a leash like a champ, letting new people pet me, and taking treats with a friendly tail wag. I'm still learning the ropes of life in a home, but I've made huge progress!
I love my crate-it's my happy place-and I'm always excited for mealtime. I'm not fully housetrained yet, but I'm working on it. I've got a playful side too and love spending time with my brothers, Howie and Harley. I haven't met other dogs or kids yet, but I'm open to new friends with the right introductions.
I enjoy being outside and walk well on a leash. I'm curious, cheerful, and definitely the kind of dog who thrives with patience, kindness, and a little routine. And toys? Oh yes-I especially love unstuffing them!

Adoption fee: $50
Hugo is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. Pawmetto Lifeline wants every animal to have a chance to find a loving home.
