Looking for an active, intelligent, and affectionate companion? Kanan is your guy! He is an enthusiastic and sweet dog who thrives on routine and staying active. He's an absolute blast to live with for anyone who enjoys an adventurous lifestyle.
His Ideal Home:
- Experienced Adopters: Kanan needs a confident, dog-savvy owner who understands canine behavior (no first-time owners, please!).
- Active Household: A home with a secure backyard and an owner who loves long, daily sniffy walks and hikes is a must.
- A Fun Canine Sibling (Optional): He can go home with a dog sibling who matches his rigorous, high-energy playstyle. Meet and greet suggested.
- Quiet Time: Dedicated quiet areas where he can learn to settle and relax.
Kanan has so much love to give to the right person. If you are a seasoned dog owner ready for an athletic, smart companion, Kanan is ready to meet you! To help ensure a seamless transition, KANAN IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT ARRANGEMENT. This trial period gives potential adopters the perfect opportunity to see how Kanan fits into their daily lifestyle and matches the energy of any canine siblings before making a lifetime commitment.
