Tidbits:
Archie was found as a stray. His ears were so infected and swollen shut that he couldn't hear, but with treatment, love, and time, this boy proved he can hear just fine. He just listens selectively, like any true Frenchie.
Today, Archie is a mellow, snuggly, 25-pound lap lover who wants nothing more than to be right next to his person. He adores being held, getting belly rubs, and curling up in any dog bed that already has a dog in it. He simply sits on top of them.
He's housebroken, crate-trained, uses a doggy door, and while he would benefit from a fenced yard, he doesn't require one. He does have a grade 2 luxating patella, but it rarely bothers him unless he roughhouses too hard, and even then, he bounces back quickly.
Archie is a gentle soul with a diva streak: he can jump on the couch, but he'd much rather snort dramatically until you pick him up. He's mostly a couch potato with occasional bursts of playfulness, especially with other dogs.
After everything he's been through, Archie is ready for a home where he can be cherished, carried, cuddled, and adored exactly the way he deserves.
