Smokey is a rather timid cat, who will take some time to adjust to new his new forever home. He tends to be protective over his things, whether that be his bedding, or his food bowls. He is fine with being pet, but does get overstimulated rather quickly. He is okay with being held, preferable for a shorter amount of time, if possible.
