Hi, I'm Sketchy - and while my name might sound a little suspicious, I'm really just a soft-hearted soul who's still learning to trust the world around me. I'm a 5-year-old lady with a gentle spirit and a shy nature, which is why the GTHS team calls me a "spirit cat." That means I'm more reserved than your average feline, and I take my time warming up to new people and places. Most days, I prefer the quiet comfort of a cozy hiding spot, but once I start to feel safe, you'll catch glimpses of my sweet and affectionate side.
I've lived enough life to know what I like: calm environments, gentle voices, and a slow, respectful approach. Wet food is definitely the way to my heart, and once I trust you, I may surprise you with little moments of connection that feel extra special because they're so earned. I could thrive in a home with a confident, cat-savvy feline companion to show me the ropes, and while I haven't been tested with dogs, slow introductions might work. Because of my timid nature, I'd do best in a home with older children (10+) who understand feline body language and can give me the space I need to settle in at my own pace.
