Some may call me a "dog", but if you ask me, I'm more of a silver fox! Hello, I'm Kris, and I was transferred to ECCHA from a shelter down in Texas. I'm a calm, mature, and well-mannered 7-year-old fellow who has some very refined tastes of sniffing around outside, lots of tasteful butt scratches, and showing off my skills at sitting for a treat. I'm very smart, I love to learn and I'm happy to please in order to earn treats. I've been described as medium-energy, but I'm perfectly content to find my own fun exploring outside! We aren't sure how I do with cats or other dogs, so please introduce me slowly. I'd love my furever home to have lots of room to explore, and lots of chances for me to work my brain.
