Meet Billy the Kid! A big, strong guy with a big, gentle heart. His previous owner came to own him from a guy on the side of the road; unfortunately, they had to surrender him to us, due to not having enough to give this special boy all the care he needs. Billy is a very strong dog, and is only recommended for people who have the full body strength to work with him. He's a big fan of getting to meet people, to the point he'll develop "happy tail" from wagging his behind nonstop while around humans. It's important he doesn't go into a home with cats, as he will chase them down. We aren't sure how he does children in the home. Billy needs confidence around dogs and is selective about his dog friends, he is a gentle/dainty player in the yard. He loves his friend in our playgroups, Mr. King! Billy would be a great dog for adults and older children who have the strength to work with him, love on him, and be able to handle the 70 pounds of muscle and joy packed into this dog.
