Hi, I'm Timmy. I was found with a huge facial wound, likely from an attack, and I needed major reconstruction surgery along with a few teeth removed. I'm fully healed now and feeling great - ready for my forever home.
I'm also FIV positive, which just means my immune system is a little different. FIV isn't a big deal for most cats, and FIV cats can live long, healthy, normal lives. It's only spread through deep bite wounds, not sharing bowls or snuggling, so I can safely live with friendly cats.
I'm a total Velcro cat. I love being right next to my humans, always ready for pets, cuddles, and long snuggle sessions. If you sit, I'm there. If you nap, I'm definitely there. I'm very food-motivated, so offering me a little treat is the quickest way to win my heart.
I can be shy with certain people at first, but I warm up pretty quickly. I was the only cat in my foster home, and while I've been hesitant around dogs at the vet, I'm not sure yet how I feel about kids or other cats. What I do know is that I adore affection and being close to my people.
I'm not a high-energy guy - toys and zoomies aren't really my thing. Loud noises can startle me sometimes, but with gentle exposure I get more confident. Mostly, I just want love, head scratches, belly flops, and cozy naps with you.
I have a small scar on the left side of my face from my injury, so that side looks a little less chunky - but it doesn't affect me at all. I also have a cute orange marking under my nose that looks like a tiny mustache.
My perfect home would be with one or two people who want a sweet, snuggly companion. I thrive on attention and affection and don't need a playmate - just someone who loves having a cuddly shadow by their side.
