Hi, I'm Saguaro. I was rescued from a large Descanso colony where I learned to survive outdoors and to be cautious around humans - but Smittens showed me that people can be gentle, patient, and safe. I got along well with my colony mates and foster friends, and I appreciate calm, respectful company.
I'm a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I'm a cuddly, chatty purring machine! I absolutely love other kitties because they help me feel brave and confident. I'm a big fan of Churu treats, my favorite mouse toy, cozy naps, and exploring every nook and cranny to find the perfect napping spot. I have a gorgeous sable coat and pretty green eyes, too!
I'm not a fan of sudden movements or being grabbed unexpectedly, so I'd love a patient family who respects my boundaries and lets me warm up at my own pace. My dream home would have a friendly, playful feline companion and a calm environment without children or big dogs. Give me a little time, some yummy treats, and lots of gentle love, and I'll be purring my way into your heart!
