Hi, I'm Flute. I came into care through a rescue partner and was found to be FeLV+ at the time of my spay, but don't let that define me-I'm a happy, loving little cat ready to find my perfect home.

I'm a social and easygoing girl who does well with other cats when introductions are done properly. I'd likely be just fine with respectful kids, though I haven't had experience with toddlers or babies yet. I haven't met any dogs, so that's still a bit of a mystery to me.

Personality-wise, I'm an absolute gem. I love to chat and chirp to my humans, and I'll happily follow you around the house to keep you company. I'm playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. I lean right into pets, offer sweet little headbutts, and I'm a champion biscuit maker. I'm also quite calm and confident-I don't scare easily (even the vacuum doesn't bother me!). Despite being a smaller girl, I've got a big presence and an even bigger heart.

I love just about everything that involves attention-playing with toys, enjoying my meals, being brushed, and getting pets (just not on my belly, please!). I'm happiest when I'm close to my humans, whether we're actively playing or simply hanging out together. Even talking to me makes my day-I'm a big fan of connection.

What makes me extra special is how expressive and engaging I am. My soft little meows and chirps are the sweetest, and I truly enjoy being your shadow, following you from room to room just to be near you.

My ideal home would be one where I can get lots of love and companionship. I'd likely do well in many environments, but because I'm FeLV+, I would do best as an only cat or with other FeLV+ feline friends. I really thrive on attention and closeness, so a home where someone is around often would make me especially happy.

As for my FeLV+ status, it simply means my immune system can be a bit more sensitive, so I'm best suited to an indoor home where I can stay safe and healthy. Many FeLV+ cats live happy, comfortable lives with good care, regular vet checkups, and lots of love-and I fully plan to be one of them. All I really need is a caring home that understands my needs and is ready to give (and receive!) lots of affection.
