Oakley came to us in November with her three siblings as terrified little kittens who didn't know if the world was safe yet. It took them all work and patience to start to trust us. Her and her sister, Maple, are still waiting for their person to notice them.
These two girls have helped one another feel brave. They may still be a little shy at first, but once they trust you, their silly and loving side start to shine!
Oakley is shyer of the two. She loves to "Kitten Watch"....she stares at all the other kittens in their cubby. Once she settles in, she loves to get some gentle cuddles from us volunteers and play with wand toys!
Black kittens may blend into the background at the shelter, but in a home, they become unforgettable!
