Four hundred days.
That's how long our handsome Auggie has been waiting for someone to look past the shelter and see the amazing cat underneath.
Auggie came to us as a young kitten after suffering an injury to his leg. He underwent two surgeries and spent a little time in foster before coming to the shelter. And through it all, Auggie has always been a little pistol ??
Some days, Auggie is ALL about the pets. Other days, he'd prefer you admire him from a distance. And honestly? We get it. ?? He just needs someone who will understand that when Auggie says, "Not right now," they respect it.
But Auggie is a GOOD BOY.
He spends his days in a playgroup with four other cats and has never had an issue interacting with his feline friends. He LOVES playing. He LOVES the faucet. And when he's in the mood for affection, he LOVES getting attention.
What Augie needs is someone who won't be put off by his moods. Someone who will look into those gorgeous yellow eyes, and give him a chance.
Because after 400 days, we think Auggie has spent enough time behind a cage door.
He deserves to know what it's like to have a home where he doesn't have to be put back in a cage after playtime.
Come meet Auggie. Give him a chance. We have a feeling those beautiful yellow eyes just might steal your heart. ????
Auggie is waiting.
400 days and counting...
