Ella is a gentle soul in search of a loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Right now, she may be scared of the world, often showing her fear by growling, backing up, and barking when new people approach her. But don't let that fool you-Ella is a cuddle bug at heart.
She enjoys the company of other dogs and becomes playful once she feels comfortable. Though timid at first, Ella is willing to open up after she gets to know you. It took her foster home about three days of patient sitting on the floor, waiting for Ella to come and sit in their lap. Once she did, it was clear that Ella has a hard exterior but a soft, gooey middle.
Ella is an easy dog to care for and is fully potty and crate trained. When she's happy and comfortable, she is a joy to be around!
Ella is looking for a new best friend to hang out with! Once she opens up, she is all sunshine and rainbows-a truly happy gal. Ella is searching for her human, someone she can trust and be loyal to. She will light up your life with her loving presence.
