Poor sweet Sassy Lady came to the shelter at 14 years old after her owner passed away. Her temporary caretaker shared that she is friendly but quiet and often keeps to herself. Sassy Girl lived with other cats and ignored them. They said she hisses at dogs but does fine if they respect her space.
She hasn't been here long but we really love Sassy Lady already and there is certainly a LOT of her to love right now. Obesity in cats is no joke though; Sassy Lady has started on a new diet + exercise plan to help increase her mobility and get her feeling her best again. If you are willing to help Sassy Lady commit to her weight loss journey please apply to adopt or foster!
