Rocky is an almost 3 year old husky who exhibits some of the best traits of the breed-he is athletic and smart, has striking blue eyes, and is always up for a fun adventure. However, he can also be stubborn and does not always appreciate being told what to do!
Rocky is very smart, knows his basic commands, and excels at agility training! He's also affectionate and will lean his whole body on you for pets when he's particularly proud of his antics. One of his volunteer fans shared that " Rocky is the best boy ever. He is very high energy and always seems to have the BEST TIME EVER, no matter what he's doing. He is one of those dogs that is clearly just so excited and happy for whatever the day brings. His joy brings me so much joy!"
Rocky will benefit from an adopter who has knowledge and experience with Siberian Huskies who will continue training with him and provide him healthy outlets for his abundance of husky energy! His handler will need to be strong enough to handle his exuberance and excitement on leash-everything about life is exciting to Rocky, including pouncing on skinks in bushes!
Due to his strength and size, Rocky is looking for an adults-only home. In addition to husky experience, his adopter should be knowledgeable of K9 body language as he does not always believe that sharing is caring-please do not take toys unless you have something better to trade!
Rocky is an exceptional dog who will bring you lots of entertainment, love, and glitter...oh we mean husky hair! Please consider applying to Rocky today.
