This handsome boy is accurately named because he came to us in pretty rough shape after being abandoned but you would never know it because he is beyond happy, affectionate, intuitive and loving. Courage has never let his rough past affect the pure sunshine that radiates from his soul.
He greets you in his kennel with all the kisses and butt wiggles. You can tell he wants to jump up on you from excitement but politely holds back his jumps as much as he can and just gives you his wiggly butt for all the pets and lots of kisses. He leashes up easily and goes potty as soon as he gets outside, which he seems to be holding in for his walks so we think there's a chance he has already been potty trained previously. On his walks he is polite on his leash and passes other dogs without any issues. He will happily show off his sit for a treat and takes treats gently from your hand. He also seems to be interested in playing in the water as he has stopped on walks to drink from a leaky hose and put his paws in a fresh puddle to splash around. If you lean down to give him pets he will happily circle back to you and lean into you for all the love.
If you walk by his kennel after his walks he's quietly curled up in his bed and will look at you with his big beautiful eyes. You can just see what a gentle soul this boy has just by looking at him, even with his big ole block head.
