Chase is a lovely older gentleman with a happy disposition. He is almost completely blind, but that doesn't slow him down or affect his joy for life! Chase is always excited to go for a walk, and will trot along sniffing everything he comes across. Because he is blind, he sometimes needs help navigating, but he is so worth the small amount of extra effort! Chase does well with other older, calmer dogs.
He recently spent some time in a foster home; his foster shared that he loves long walks and is a quick learner! He quickly mastered cues to navigate her stairs (with assistance and close supervision of course). He is not a fan of her cats. Although Chase is 12 and blind, he still acts like a much younger pup. He loves to be close to humans and enjoys cuddling up on the couch or in bed. He's fully housetrained and hasn't had any accidents!
Another foster shared that Chase loves to cuddle more than anything, with walks being a close second. He is both super chill and very spunky-often acting like a much younger dog! He quickly learned the layout of her first floor and it was easy to make the necessary adjustments to the house to keep a blind dog safe.
