The man, the myth, the legend...Meet Cricket! He came to the shelter with his mom as part of a large litter of puppies, they were all quickly adopted but somehow sweet Cricket is the last one still here waiting. Handsome, smart, full of fun- we just don't get it! He recently celebrated his first birthday but he's still full of puppy energy, and he still has those puppy dog eyes you can't resist. Plus the forehead wrinkles are just too cute!
Cricket does well with other playful pups who can match his energy and enthusiasm. He loves to play with humans too, and get his zoomies out on our walks. He is also very intelligent and food motivated, so he sits super well by command. Always ready to impress.
Cricket would do great with an active family so he can get his energy out, learn new commands and then spend his time cuddling up on the couch! He will try to find his way on to your lap any chance he gets, and he especially loves belly rubs. Cricket is very popular with our volunteers and they shared this note from him: "Hi! I'm Cricket the Explorer! When someone takes me for an adventure (aka walk), my forehead wrinkles a bit because I get so excited. I just love spending time with my human friends!
