Rumby is a very handsome and highly intelligent shepherd mix. Rumby is part of the SPCA's RACE (Runner Assisted Canine Exercise) Team and enjoys running, playing two-ball fetch, swimming and going for car rides. He thrives on work-play balance and needs to be in an adults-only home with an owner committed to exercising his body and mind.
Once he is bonded with you, he can be protective to a fault. He will need a home who can commit to training and working on his behavioral needs, specifically reactivity and stranger danger.
Rumby would do best with an owner experienced with working breed dogs, or experience with reactive dogs.
