Lucho is the shining star of the shelter. He came to us late one winter night and was very cold, skinny and afraid. It took Lucho time to realize he was safe and could trust people, but once he understood this, he absolutely bloomed! Lucho is such a people-oriented dog, and just wants to be with his friends. He is very intelligent, and has already learned the commands "sit", "wait", "leave it" and "let's go". He loves to explore the woods and to go to the yard to run! Lucho is still working on his leash-walking skills and manners, and due to his size will need a strong handler with breed experience.
