Hi, I'm Tuff - but don't let the name fool you.
I may sound tough, but I'm actually a very shy, sensitive soul who's still learning how to trust the world around me. I came from a feral situation, so everything about living with people is still pretty new and sometimes scary for me. But I'm trying - and I'm getting a little braver every day.
What really helps me feel safe is having another dog around. I love other dogs and feel much more comfortable when I have a confident buddy to show me the ropes. If you already have a dog at home, I'd probably fit right in!
I'm a hound mix weighing around 35 lbs, and I'm still working on walking nicely on a leash and learning my house manners. I'll need a very patient, gentle human who understands that progress takes time - someone who can help me build confidence at my own pace.
If you have a kind heart, a calm home, and maybe even a dog friend or two, I just might be your next loyal companion. All I need is a chance. ??
