Hi, I'm Dapple, but I also go by Gracie! I'm almost 2 entire years old and I've been looking for my forever family!
I need a family that can help me when I'm having big feelings. I really don't like getting tangled up in my leash, so a fenced backyard where I can run, romp, and play to my hearts content would be awesome for me! I'm learning more and more every day (I already know "sit" and "paw"!) but the shelter can be so scary. If I was in a house, with just some patience and consistent training, I'll learn so much more! I like to roughhouse so super-little ones might not be a good match for me, but older children and teenagers would be fine - just as long as they can keep up! When I'm not playing, I love to sunbathe and cuddle with my people, and I LOVE a car ride! The staff at the shelter also think I could get along with doggy friends - but like I said, I've got big feelings and that can make new experiences overwhelming! Taking baby steps with introductions would set us up for success.
