This sweet pup was found running alone as a stray in Tennessee, making her way to a high-kill shelter, to a foster home for five months, to EHS to find her forever home! She was given the name Zero, symbolizing a fresh start and new beginnings. In her foster home, she began to gain confidence and an eagerness to learn. she's still young but past the puppy chewing phase and sticks to her own toys. She knows commands like "sit" and "paw," and is getting better with the "off" command. She enjoys trips to the dog park and loves everyone she meets. In her few interactions with small children, she's done well, although we're still working on managing her jumping when she's excited. Her leash skills are improving, and she has endless energy for running and playing-perfect for active individuals. However, she's also content to settle in and become a couch potato on rainy days. Really she just wants to be with you whatever you're doing. She enjoys carrot sticks and treats and is motivated by food, but she'll do anything for praise and attention. She started out as a trembling, scared little puppy with her tail always tucked between her legs but with a little love she quickly became a loyal companion, rewarding you with endless gratitude, cuddles, smiles, and laughter.
