Despite her designer name, Dior is a tomboy who has a zest for life! She came to shelter in February as a little puppy. We think she's a bull terrier mix, and guess that she'll be about 45 pounds when she's fully grown. At almost six months old, she's spent almost 70% of her life in a shelter. That's too long!
Dior is no longer a small puppy and is not yet an adult dog; she's at that awkward (yet adorable!) adolescent phase. She's learning her manners, mastering house training, and starting to sleep in a crate, like a big girl. Then she'll get the zoomies and nibble your shoe, and you remember she's still a baby!
Despite spending her puppyhood in a shelter, we've tried to get her ready for her eventual home. She's attended puppy kindergarten for a few weeks as well as a playgroup for teen dogs. She enjoys a good cuddle, but she's not a couch potato. She loves experiences and adventures, and she would thrive in an active family. She's been to several events and has met many people and loves everyone. She's been going to a doggy Teen and Play program and has been thriving.
She loves treats and is very trainable. She knows sit, down, stay, and she can spin. She loves to play fetch and tug. She's spent some time in a foster home, and her foster family says she's loving, smart and a lot of fun. She's patient in the bath and enjoys car rides. In short, she has all the qualities you could want in a canine companion. Meet Dior for yourself and see what a sweet dog she is.
