DERBY IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE-HOUSE MANNERS, PLAYTIME, AND MORNING ZOOMIES INCLUDED!
Derby was amazing in foster care, and her foster family gave us a wonderful update on this sweet girl!
* House trained
* Comfortable in her kennel for up to 3 hours-and actually preferred sleeping in it overnight!
* Enjoys toys and was not destructive inside
* Loves tug-of-war, keep-away, and fetch
* AM zoomies are highly encouraged!
* Working on her leash skills and responds well to treats and training
* Doesn't bark much and listens well when asked to stop
Inside the house, Derby was a very good girl. She respected the furniture boundaries, even though she definitely wanted to join you on the couch! She was provided plenty of toys to chew on and never tore anything up inside.
Outside is where Derby's playful side really shines! She loves running around, playing games, and enjoying those morning zoomies. She did do a little digging and occasionally helped herself to things that were left outside, but overall she did wonderfully.
She still has a little leash pulling to work on, but she's a smart girl who responds beautifully to positive reinforcement-especially when treats are involved!
Derby has shown that she can be a wonderful house companion AND a fun playmate. Now she just needs a family ready to enjoy all the personality this girl has to offer.
Come meet Derby and see if she's your perfect match!
Derby has an Adoption Angel! This means her adoption fee has been covered by a generous donation in honor of Kris and Kelsey Baldberg.
