Hi there, I'm Colin and I am 6 years old. I am a gorgeous, flame point Siamese. I have striking blue eyes and am slightly cross-eyed, making me all the more endearing! I was picked up wandering the streets and taken to PCAPS where I was not reclaimed before coming to TAPS. I enjoy pets, have a low rumbly, adorable, purr, like to be with my human friends, and enjoy a front row seat in a window when there are birds to watch! I am not much for toys, but if you spray them with a bit of catnip spray, I can be enticed to play! I am gentle, laid back, and very easy to get along with! If you think that I could be a good fit for your forever family, please fill out an online application, so we can get to know each other soon!
Colin is FIV+ which just means that he has been exposed to the virus at some point in his life. He will need the same care as any other cat: quality cat food, regular vet care, and lots of love. In case of illness, he should receive care right away, as his immune system may be slightly weaker than other cats. Very likely you would never know a cat is even FIV+ without the test and it will never be an issue. They have a normal lifespan, and he is quite safe to be around other nice cats as it is only transmitted through deep puncture wounds.
