Tallahassee is a 4 year old sweet girl that found herself with a stroke of bad luck. She spent her first two years as a house dog and then due to her size was chained up outside for the past 2 years in the Florida heat until a Good local Samaritan spent some time in Florida, met her, asked the owners if they could have her and held her until TAPS could get her into our care.
Sadly, upon arrival, she tested heartworm positive and completed heartworm treatment now having a clean bill of health. She is a sweet and friendly girl who loves to sleep in bed, is dog friendly, had a good cat test, and loves people, kids, and toys...but she doesn't know her size so a home with toddlers probably would not be the best fit. Tally attends lots of offsite events and gets glowing reviews of how great she is with all she meets. She is very smart knows sit, shake, down, and hi five. We can't wait to get this girl back into a home!
Leash Manners: pulls a little not bad
Basic Commands: sit, paw, drop
Cat introduction in a controlled environment: no reaction
Good with dogs? yes
Special Notes has done well in play group and at off sites
