Barkarina is a small little thing learning about new people and new animals after living most of her life in a hoarding situation. She found comfort in the dogs she knew but is currently in a foster home trying to learn new people and animals are ok, too. She will need a patient family to work with her on socialization and confidence building; since she has been displaying fearful behaviors in her new environment, we are currently open to homes without young children. She seems to be wet food motivated. She is very sweet and easily won over by food but does prefer to be carried versus walked on a leash.

Leash Manners: all over the place. Likely never leashed and is afraid. She will do better with work, she is still settling in
Basic Commands: none we can tell
Cat introduction in a controlled environment: Sniffed but otherwise no real reaction.
Good with dogs? Not currently. Is decompressing in a foster home w/ dogs of various sizes and is baring teeth and growling at them.
Special Notes: has not offered to bite humans at all, she is just afraid and noise plus new surroundings bother her, but we are saying no young children at this time.

Adoption Fee: $ 100
Estimated Date of Birth: Unknown
Intake Reason: Came from hoarding case
