This dapper man is Mercury. He is a 1 year old brown/tan mixed breed. He was returned to us after just two weeks because he was "untrainable" which everyone in the shelter knows is not true. Mercury has grown from a puppy with little manners into a handsome adolescent dog that is responsive to training. He walks well on a leash, knows sit, touch, and can ring a bell. Mercury does seem to have some neurological issues of unknown origin which causes him to slightly tilt his head at times and run into things from time to time but it doesn't slow him down.
