Hi, I'm Momz, and while I'm cute as a button, right now I'm coming across as very sassy. Why? Well, life has been a bit of a bumpy road. I originally belonged to a woman, who then married, and then many years later, she left both him and I behind. She said to "just take me to the pound" and while I don't know what that is I can't imagine it's good. So, instead, I went along to a new home with her now ex-husband, but just recently he lost that home. The pattern here? Change, stress, distrust, and lack of good old-fashioned attention and love. Heartbreaking, right? I am very honest because this has made me a feisty little firecracker, and it's clear I need some serious TLC. Don't get me wrong, I am friendly, loving, playful and attentive, but the lack of routine and love has made me cautious. When you are kind, pay attention to me, and offer treats, it helps me build a bond with you and you'll soon see my sweet side come out. My ideal home would be a quiet one with a patient person, and ideally not with other dogs and cats - I didn't get along with those in my former home, but again, that could have been the situation. I am hungry for companionship at my pace, and I know I will get back to me lovely self, and think of how rewarding that would be if YOU get me there!
