Meet Joni! This beautiful calico was a bit shy when she first came to us, but she's been opening up more and more each day. She's starting to enjoy our gentle love and pets, and she's learning how to show love in return. With the right family, Joni would thrive and become a loving and affectionate companion. Joni loves spending time with her feline buddy Sangria - they're inseparable! They must be adopted together. Adopting Joni and Sangria would bring so much joy and love into your home!
Joni received a diagnosis of Feline Leukemia (FeLV), a virus that affects a cat's immune system. While it can potentially be spread to other cats, it does not pose a risk to dogs or humans. Joni's FeLV diagnosis does not mean her quality of life will be impacted. With some precautions in place, she can still enjoy a happy and healthy life so long as the following precautions are taken:
- Joni and Sangria must be adopted to a family where they are the only cats, OR they must be adopted into a family where the other cats already have FeLV.
- Joni must be a strictly indoor cat.
