This sweet, 10-year-old cat spent the last 6 years in a loving home. However, she wasn't thriving in the hustle and bustle of a busy house with other pets and an infant. Shirley isn't a fan of loud noises and quick movements, and she'd prefer a quiet home where she can cuddle up with her human at night and sleep in her hidey holes during the day.
We've gotten to know Shirley really well since she came to Stafford Animal Shelter in January. She's been in foster for the past two months while we worked to get a handle on some GI problems. This sweet girl has a history of chronic tummy issues going back years before coming to the shelter. Luckily, she's made huge strides since we've gotten her on a prescription diet. Her adopters will need to continue with her current prescription diet one she is adopted, but this little sweetheart is worth the extra effort.
