Meet Laurel!
It takes an extraordinary spirit to survive unimaginable circumstances, and Laurel is one of those extraordinary souls.
Over the past eight months, Laurel has made incredible progress and growth in her foster home. Her foster family says that she is an introvert who loves to lounge out and relax! She arrived at the shelter shy, fearful, and unsure of people. Through patience, love, and consistency, she's blossomed into a dog who loves to dig, lay out in the sun, play with her toys, and is learning that people are not so scary.
Laurel truly thrives with canine companionship and will need a home with another dog to help her continue building her confidence. She also is currently living with two cat siblings in her foster home!
Her journey isn't over yet-she's looking for a patient, understanding family willing to let her move at her own pace and celebrate every milestone along the way.
