It takes an extraordinary spirit to survive unimaginable circumstances, and Cedar is one of those extraordinary souls.
When Cedar first arrived at Stafford back in October, she was completely shut down. She was very shy and frightened of people. Since then, she has made incredible progress, learning that the world isn't as scary as she once believed. She is learning to love pets from people, playing with toys, and lounging out in the sun. Every small step she takes is a huge victory, and we're so proud of how far she's come.
Cedar feels most comfortable as a one and only dog in the home, so she will need a safe and quiet home to help her continue building her confidence. She's looking for a calm, patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace, without expecting too much too soon.
