?? Kai's Story - One He Shouldn't Have to Tell Again ??
Sometimes life just isn't fair for the sweetest souls. Kai's been through so much in such a short time. He came to us as a stray back in March, found a home in May, and now-through no fault of his own or his adopters-he's back with us again this September.
You can see it in his eyes... the confusion, the sadness, the heartbreak of wondering what he did wrong. The truth is-he didn't do anything wrong. He's just a young boy, 1 year and 3 months old, about 50 lbs, who wants to belong somewhere for good this time.
Kai is everything you could want in a dog - neutered, housebroken, great with kids, and wonderful with other dogs. He loves to play fetch, knows his commands (sit, stay, paw, lay down, even "bedtime"), and has all the love in the world to give.
He just doesn't understand why he's back in a kennel instead of curled up on the couch with his family. He tries to stay strong, wagging his tail for attention, but you can tell he's hurting inside.
