Meet Royce! ?? aka Roy Rodger's or Rolls-Royce ??
Royce has been with us since May, and after fostering him, we've found him to be a calm and affectionate dog who loves his naps but also enjoys playing and zoomies in the yard. He's a sweet, laid-back companion who prefers following you around the house rather than snuggling, though with time, he may warm up to it.
At 4 years and 7 months old, Royce weighs 53 pounds. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He's crate trained, knows basic commands, and is easy to walk on a leash. While he's making good progress on housebreaking, he still needs regular outdoor breaks and prefers you stay with him while he goes outside. He's also dog-friendly (a meet-and-greet is recommended) and would do best with older kids since he's still learning how to play politely.
Royce is working on curbing his nibbling during play and his excitement-induced humping, but he's a quick learner. He's great in the car, loves treats, and isn't food aggressive. Royce would do well in an apartment setting and is looking for a family to call his own.
