Looking to adopt a house cow? Come out and meet Bessie!
Bessie came to Animal Friends as a stray in February 2024 and is now on the search for a family! When she was worked up for adoption staff noted she had a very sweet temperament and is a treat motivated girl who responded to the commands sit, paw, and down. Bessie was good for all body handling and has been out on adoption events and done well meeting new people of all ages! Bessie has had the chance to try out some of the doggie playgroups and became instant friends with one of the male dogs, though she did seem to be trying to bully one of the other female dogs in the group. We would recommend a meet and greet with any dogs already in the home to make sure everyone's play styles match up well!
