Meet Peekaboo! This handsome 49 pound boy is food motivated and likes to show off his "sit." He enjoys pets and scratches. Peekaboo is working on his leash skills, and would thrive with a person who is able to keep working with him as he learns.
This sweet, quiet boy recently enjoyed a Dogs Day Out adventure and made a lovely companion. He hopped into the car easily and rode nicely, taking in the day without a single bark-even when he saw other dogs and people.
In his host's fenced yard, Peekaboo happily explored and tried his paw at fetch. He chased the ball but wasn't quite sure what came next! Inside, he showed good house manners during his visit and rested beside his host while they ate lunch.
Peekaboo also enjoyed a long neighborhood walk, pulling just a little and stopping to investigate the grass, bushes, and trees. Exploring may be his favorite pastime! With his adorable ears-one charmingly floppy-and his willingness to enjoy gentle pets on his face, ears, and body, he gave his host plenty of reasons to smile.
Peekaboo has met other dogs at the shelter. He does best with gentle and socially savvy friends, and may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
