Meet Brooks! She came to BARCS as a sick, stray, orphan and has been spending time in a foster home healing and growing before adoption. She is being treated for conjunctivitis and an upper respiratory infection which we hope will clear up soon.
Despite feeling under the weather, Brooks is full of energy! She climbs furniture, chases toys, pounces on items, and scratches her scratch board. Her favorite toy is her crinkle ball. Sometimes she fights sleep but if you snuggle her she will pass out in your arms almost immediately and purr. It's her foster's favorite comfort before bed.
Brooks can still get a little nervous when people walk around if she is out in the open of a large room. She feels more comfortable in smaller spaces. She would fit best with someone that can help her develop her confidence and has time to play with her to burn off her kitten energy.
