Birria enjoys heading out for an adventure, exploring all the interesting smells, and checking in with his person along the way. Those little glances back are such a charming part of spending time with him-he likes to see what you're up to, too! He may pull a bit when something exciting catches his attention, but he also takes time to slow down, enjoy a good sniff, and simply take in the world around him.
Bring along some treats and you'll have a very enthusiastic participant! Birria can get a little bouncy when snacks are involved, but he listens well and has a great "sit" ready to show off. His eagerness and cheerful personality make practicing his manners a fun way to spend time together.
And between the exploring and treat breaks, Birria is happy to pause for some pets and attention. He's a lovely mix of playful enthusiasm and sweet companionship, with a whole collection of silly expressions thrown in for good measure. Birria has met other dogs at the shelter, he does best with polite friends and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. He is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.
