Toffee is a 4-year old sweet boy who walks nicely on leash. He enjoys sniffing and exploring on his walk. He is food motivated and takes treats gently. He enjoys playing with toys.
Toffee spent some time in a short-term foster home, where he showed his playful, loving personality! He loves his soccer ball, outdoor adventures, and walks. He enjoyed a trail hike and behaved well during a pet-friendly brunch outing. He also knows "sit" and "shake"!
At home, Toffee slept well and did great when left alone for a few hours. Once comfortable with his people, he enjoys being close and snuggling. On walks, he pulled a little and watched people and animals with interest, without barking.
Toffee is an enthusiastic boy who would love a patient family to help him practice calm greetings and channel his excitement into play. This affectionate, adventure-loving boy is ready to keep learning with a family of his own!
Toffee is playful with his dog pals, and likes to play chase with his favorite friends. He requests to meet any potential roommates to be sure they are a good match.
Toffee is currently in the comfort of a foster home. If you're interested in meeting him, please complete an application and email dogfosters@barcs.org for next steps!
