Morning Glory is a nervous girlie, but she seems to appreciate baby talk and encouragement. She's an easy walk and engages with her handler.
Morning Glory is spending some time in a short-term foster home, and this quiet, gentle girl is proving to be a wonderful houseguest!
She has been perfectly housetrained in her foster home, with zero accidents! When left alone, she quietly naps in her cozy pen, where a bed piled high with blankets makes her feel safe and comfortable.
Morning Glory enjoys leisurely sniffing walks and even has an adorable little prance! Although she's timid, her foster family reports that passing cars, bikers, lawn mowers, and other everyday sounds haven't seemed to bother her. She has also been calm during parallel walks with the resident dog and while sharing space with dogs separated by baby gates. Introductions are moving slowly, with encouraging progress so far.
She's still learning to trust and isn't seeking cuddles just yet, but she's comfortable having her people nearby. Her foster family is letting her set the pace-and every day, she does something a little braver than the day before.
Morning Glory is looking for a patient adopter who will celebrate those small victories, offer plenty of cozy blankets, and give her time to blossom.
Morning Glory is playful with her dog pals and appreciates polite friends. She loves to run and play chase with her favorite pals. She has also interacted nicely with small breed dogs.
Morning Glory is currently in the comfort of a foster home. If you're interested in meeting her, please complete an application and email dogfosters@barcs.org for next steps!
