Spaghetti O came to the shelter due to no fault of his own. His former family reported that he is housetrained and does well with children. He has interacted nicely with children as young as 2 years through 7 years old. He was also very well behaved around a 7 month old. He is a happy, 50 pound boy who loves pets, and will flop over on his back for belly rubs and all the love you will give him.
Sweet Spaghetti O spent a short time in a foster home and showed us what a snuggly and affectionate boy he is. He is housebroken and had no accidents. He can be crated when needed, and he settles down quickly with his toys in his crate. He is happiest when he is close to his person and loves to snuggle on the couch whenever possible. He has a medium-to-low energy level overall, with occasional playful bursts followed by lots of cuddle time.
Spaghetti O is a polite car passenger, and just relaxes and enjoys the ride. He made great progress on leash walking, and did especially well after switching to an EZ Walk harness. He regularly engages with his handler on his own accord, and just seems so wonderfully happy. He is curious about people and likes to observe them from a distance while remaining calm and manageable on walks. He is very food motivated and already knows "sit" and "up." He loves showing off his "sit" and can hold it very patiently, wagging his tail the entire time.
Spaghetti O loves chasing tennis balls around the yard, but will take breaks to enthusiastically run back to you and say hi. It is very cute how he runs around and then checks back in to affectionately pounce and give gentle kisses! He's such a happy, loving boy, and will instantly put you in a good mood.
Spaghetti O will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
