Meet Flip Phone 3! This sweet, 38 pound girl can be a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Flip Phone 3 absolutely loves being close to her humans. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch, relaxing out on the deck, or following you from room to room, she's happiest simply spending time with her people. She loves snuggling, adores neck rubs, and has a wonderfully gentle, loving nature.
Flip Phone 3 enjoyed a Dogs Day Out adventure to the park, where volunteers described her as calm, fun, and an all-around very good girl. She walked nicely on leash, enjoyed exploring outdoors, and happily spent time relaxing with her people and playing with toys. Everyone who meets her quickly notices what a lovely companion she is.
Flip Phone 3 handles adoption events like a champ! She's an easy car passenger - hops right in and is ready to go! She's a relaxed gal and lets everyone see her sweet, snuggly personality. She soaks up all the pets and affection from admirers, and greets her new friends with gentle tail wags and kisses. She even leans in and flops over for belly rubs. All her new fans commented on how calm, sweet, and gentle she is.
Flip Phone 3 spent time in a short-term foster home, giving us a great picture of the wonderful dog she is becoming. She has a nice medium energy level-not overly busy, but not a couch potato either. Flip Phone 3 loves neighborhood walks, pup cups, games of fetch and tug, and plenty of cozy naps with her foster. On leash, she tends to pull, especially if she spots something interesting like a squirrel or another small animal, but she continues improving with guidance. She is very well house-trained and had no accidents in foster.
This sweet girl loves people and has done well meeting them outside the home. She has met women both inside and outside the home and has been calm and playful. With new people in her home, she may bark briefly at first, especially when she's feeling protective of her person, but she settles quickly and warms up with a little time. She absolutely adores being close to her people and is a big fan of snuggling. In fact, she has absolutely no concept of personal space-in the best possible way! She loves giving kisses and will happily curl up as close to you as she can.
Flip Phone 3 is a smart, food-motivated girl who already knows how to sit and enjoys engaging with her people. She takes her treats gently, responds well to positive reinforcement, and is eager to learn. Although her foster allowed her on the couch and bed, she is very respectful and listens well when asked to get down. She also makes an excellent cuddle buddy if you're looking for a dog to share the couch-or even your bed-with.
She can become distressed when her people first leave her alone. While she will eventually settle, she would likely do best with a family that can help her continue building confidence when alone and ease her into longer periods of separation with patience and consistency.
Her favorite activities include chasing squeaky balls, playing fetch, enjoying tasty treats, spending time with her people, and soaking up affection. Her foster summed her up best by saying, "She's perfect, and I wish I could keep her!"
Flip Phone 3 has met other dogs at the shelter and is a gentle girl who likes other gentle pals. She has even been a "helper dog", encouraging other very shy dogs to come out of their kennel and go on walks. She would like to meet any potential doggie roommates to ensure a good fit.
