Meet Thorin, a big, lovable couch companion who has perfected the art of relaxing. This sweet, gentle boy is happiest when he's close to his people-whether that's stretched out beside you on the couch, soaking up belly rubs, or quietly keeping you company while you go about your day.
Since moving into his foster home, Thorin's easygoing personality has really started to shine. His foster describes him as a calm, affectionate dog who settles into home life beautifully. He loves spending time with his humans and will happily come sit beside you, roll onto his back, and invite you to give him plenty of belly rubs. If there's a cozy spot near his people, that's exactly where Thorin wants to be.
Thorin has also proven to be a wonderful houseguest. He has been doing well with housetraining and has settled into a nice routine in his foster home. When left alone, he relaxes in his crate and spends most of the time snoozing peacefully until his people return-though he does get very excited when he hears them coming home!
Outdoor time is another favorite for Thorin. He enjoys long walks where he can explore and take in all the interesting sights and smells around him. He can get a little excited and pull at times, especially as he continues building strength, but overall he enjoys a relaxed pace and loves being outside. When he's not out on a walk, you'll often find him sunbathing on the deck, happily watching birds, cars, and the neighborhood go by.
Thorin also enjoys the simple comforts of home. He has a beloved monkey plush toy that he likes to lounge with, and he's perfectly content spending a quiet afternoon relaxing nearby while his people cook, grill, or unwind. His calm demeanor and loyal nature make him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a dog who truly enjoys being part of the family.
